Profile

I finished my B. Eng. (Hons.)  in Computer Engineering and then my M. Sc. degree by research in computer engineering from Khalifa University of Science, Technology and Research in the years 2007 and 2009, respectively. My M. Sc. work was in the field of image fusion aiming to ease victim detection in urban search-and-rescue scenarios. Currently, I am pursuing my Ph.D. degree at the same university working on remote sensing image fusion. During the course of my study, I have received several awards and recognitions such as the prestigious IET prize in the year 2007. Also, I was selected to represent the graduates of my university in the last graduation ceremony.

In addition, I am an active volunteer in the university where I am a member of several committees within the university. I am also active in the local professional community as I am currently the secretary of the IEEE UAE Section. During my voluntary work, I have participated in the organization of several workshops, conferences, competitions, and various other activities. One of my recent activities is The 2011 AlKindi Student Workshop on Cryptology. It is the first workshop designed and managed by students for students.
